IPODS ARE EXPANDING LEARNING AT BISD Everywhere you look these days, kids have little ear buds popped in their ears listening to the latest hits from their tiny mp3 players. Educators have discovered ways to utilize these fascinating devices as an instructional tool through the use of podcasting. Using this technology, Bonham ISD has initiated this exciting program for our English Language Learners. A number of ESL students will be provided with Ipods and instructional websites. The Ipods and podcasting allows these students to hear instructional material outside of the classroom setting providing for anytime, anywhere learning. We believe that this new learning tool will have an impact, not only for the ESL students, but for their families as well.
