Semester Test Exemption Guidelines

1. Students will be notified of exemption status on Tuesday, June 1,  2010.

2. The following guidelines will be used to determine exemption status:

1 Absence with  C avg
2 Absences with B avg  
3 Absences with A avg

3 tardies count as 1 absence

Attendance codes that count against exemptions:+, A , U, N, C, #,  :

RSCCC Attendance is the Determining Criteria!

3. All students are must go to 2nd period roll check regardless of exemption status.

4. During exams, students must either leave campus or report to class. If they are exempt and do not want to take the test, they must have something to work on while in class.

5. All students are encouraged to take the exams. If a student is exempt and he/she takes the semester test, it cannot lower his/her grade.

6. Students will not be required to sign out through the attendance office when leaving campus on semester test days.

7. If the student is supposed to take a test and is not here, they will be counted absent.

8. If a student is not exempt and is absent, the school must receive a parent call or the student will get a 0 on his/her test.

9. Students will not be allowed to leave a testing classroom early except the last testing period of the day.

10. Students must be enrolled at Bonham High School for the entire semester in order to  be eligible for test exemptions.

11. No student may take a test early without approval from the Principal.
