Students are to be in attendance for the full instructional day.  Parents are urged to make doctor’s appointments and other important appointments at a time that will not interfere with the school day.

Students dismissed after 2:50 PM without a doctor’s appointment card may run afoul of Texas Compulsory Attendance Laws.  Please adhere to the Dismissal Procedures as this dismissal procedure will help reduce interruptions to instruction and learning.  In addition, these procedures maximize our ability to maintain a safe and accountable dismissal routine.

Prom Closet Celebrates its 7th Year

Shopping Days: Thursday, March 26 & Saturday, March 28

St. Andrew United Methodist Women (UMW) is proud to be hosting shopping days once again. We hope to make every young woman attending her Prom feel like Cinderella! Through your generous donations we have served a growing number of girls every year.

Prom Closet has been able to outfit each girl with the “Total Look.” This includes dress, shoes, handbag, evening wrap, and jewelry. This year we are collecting dresses and accessories, including jewelry, shoes, handbags, and wraps. Items can be dropped off in Room 126 at the church. There is a tax receipt form there for you to take.

Work days to prepare the dresses and accessories will be during the March UMW Circle meetings. Everyone is welcome to attend and help; you do not have to be a UMW member.

Prom Closet Shopping Days / Times

Thursday, March 26 ~ 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 28 ~ 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Students must be in attendance to shop for selection of dress and accessories.

St. Andrew UMC is located on Plano Parkway between Preston Road and the Dallas North Tollway (1 mile east of the Dallas North Tollway and north of the George Bush Turnpike). Shopping will take place in Smith Worship Center on the east side of the campus, 1401 Mira Vista side of the church (Plano Parkway and Mira Vista). Park in the east parking lot along Mira Vista, and follow the Prom Closet directional signs.
