Upper Body Garments:
Must have sleeves extending beyond a recognizable shoulder seam
Must be long enough to be tucked in and remain tucked in when seated
Must cover the chest region
Must not be see-through clothing (mesh, etc.)
Lower Body Garments:
Must be long enough to touch the knee cap when standing
Must be hemmed at the bottom
Must be free from holes and splits
Must be fitted at or near the waist (no oversize garments and no sagging)
Other Dress Code Requirements:
Students returning to class from athletics and/or physical education class must be in compliance with the dress code before entering the classroom.
Lettering, logos, or graphics on the backside of skirts, pants, or shorts are not allowed in grades 4-12.
Appropriate shoes must be worn; appropriateness will be determined at the campus level by campus administrators.
Hats, caps, headbands, brims, or any other inappropriate headwear are not to be inside campus buildings during the school day.
Sunglasses are not to be inside the building unless prescribed by a doctor.
Girls may wear rings or studs in the EARS ONLY.
Boys may wear earrings no larger than a dime in their EARS ONLY.
Facial hair must be neatly groomed.
Hair must be a natural color; "unnatural" hair colors must be approved by campus administrators.
Temporary devices/items used as spacers for body/facial piercing must be removed during the school day.
All tattoos must be covered.
Removable body art is prohibited unless approved by campus administrators.
Chains, including wallet chains, are prohibited.
