FORMATTING TEXT
Formatting text allows the user to change the
way the text looks. When formatting text, the font, color, size and styles
can all be changed.
Either the Formatting Toolbar or the Font Dialog
Box can be used to accomplish this task. The Font Dialog Box offers a few
more options, while the Formatting Toolbar may be easier to use.

| Apply these formats in two ways: |
*HIGHLIGHT
the text to apply the formatting to.
* Then
CLICK the BUTTON on the Formatting
toolbar.
The format will be applied to the highlighted text. |
*CLICK
the BUTTON on the format you want to apply.
* Then
begin typing.
All the text that you type from that point on will have the formatting. |

FONT DIALOG BOX
Instead of using the Formatting toolbar, the Font Dialog
Box can be utilized. It gives a few more features that are not on the
Formatting Toolbar.
| 1. SELECT the text
you want to format. |
| 2. RIGHT-CLICK and choose FONT. |

| 3. Select the font choices you
want. |
| 4. CLICK OK. |

1. Go to FORMAT on the menu bar
and
choose FONT. |
| 2. Select the font choices you
want. |
| 3. CLICK OK. |
