Beginning a New Document
| If Word is already open, start a new document by following either of the steps: | |
| Go to FILE of the menu bar and click NEW. | ![]() |
| OR | |
| Click on the ICON for new on the standard toolbar. | |
Opening
Existing Documents
| To open up documents that were previously created, follow any of these steps: | |
| 1. Go to the START button on the task bar, select OPEN OFFICE DOCUMENT. | ![]() |
| 2. A window will open. Click on the down arrow where is says LOOK IN: and locate the file to open. | ![]() |
| 3. HIGHLIGHT the file to open and click
OPEN – or just DOUBLE-CLICK on the file. |
