**Keep in mind that search engine web pages are updated regularly and may have a new look. However the URL, or web address, will not usually change.

**Search engines continually visit Web sites on the Internet in order to create computer-generated catalogs of Web pages. In most cases, search engines are best used to locate a specific piece of information such as a known document, image, or phrase rather than a general subject.

** If one search engine does not give you satisfactory results, try another one. Results often vary widely from one to another.

The website will contain a SEARCH BAR that looks similar to the Location Bar but serves a completely different purpose. While the Location Bar is used for an exact URL, the Search Bar allows you to enter general topics or key words using Boolean or mathematical logic.
