“I believe Bonham ISD can be one of the best districts in the state by putting the education of our children first and foremost. We must take personal agendas and vendettas out of the equation so that we can focus on providing an enriched education and facilities that promote a positive educational environment for both students and teachers. Through dedication to detail and an engaged school board, we can accomplish these goals and bring pride back to Bonham ISD. The current school board will have one of the greatest and most important challenges that any BISD school board has faced…a $30 million new high school project. We are tasked with overseeing this project completed to the best quality possible, while maintaining the trust of taxpayers and recognizing the needs of students and faculty. It will be a huge undertaking, but one that is well worth it! I look forward to this challenge and believe that this board is capable of building a school for which the community can be proud and that will last for generations.”
