On September 28, 2022, Bonham ISD received information that a student at Bonham High School, located at 1002 WarPath Street in Bonham, Texas, made statements that caused alarm.

Immediately upon receipt of the report, the Bonham High School Administration and BISD Police Chief enacted security measures, and determined that there was no immediate threat to the students or staff of Bonham High School.

Superintendent Kelly Trompler praised the swift action of the BHS Administration and police. “ As always, the safety of our students and staff are our top priority. The Bonham ISD Police Department acted swiftly and effectively to ensure the safety of all students and staff.”

The Bonham ISD Police Department will continue to monitor any and all situations related to safety and security of our students and staff.
