Consistent with school notification requirements for other communicable diseases and consistent with legal confidentiality requirements, Bonham ISD will notify all teachers, staff and families of all students in a classroom or extracurricular or after-school program cohort if a test-confirmed COVID-19 case is identified among students, teachers or staff who participated in those classrooms or cohorts.
Beginning Monday, August 30th:
- PK - 3 families can expect a letter delivered via email when a student or staff member in their individual child's classroom or cohort reports being test-confirmed with COVID-19.
- Due to numerous transitions of students into changing class periods each day, families with students in grades 4-12 can expect a letter delivered via email to the entire campus when a test-confirmed COVID case is received by the campus.
- Notification emails will be sent no later than one business day after the report is received by the campus.
Please ensure you have provided an up-to-date email address to your child's campus so that you receive these notification emails
