Bonham Independent School District is committed to a well-­rounded athletic and academic experience, providing students with opportunities to develop their fortitude, work ethic, and leadership skills. Bonham ISD offers rigorous and competitive athletic programs for individuals and groups. Boys' teams include baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, powerlifting, soccer, tennis, and track. Girls' teams include basketball, volleyball, cross-country, golf, powerlifting, soccer, softball, tennis, track, and volleyball. Bonham is home to the Lady Warriors, the Fighting Purple Warriors, and the L.H. Rather Indians.
