At Bonham ISD, our libraries are designed to spark imagination, support learning, and encourage a lifelong love of reading. We work hard to build a collection of books and resources that meet the needs of our students while reflecting the values of our community.
Library Resources
Every item in our libraries is thoughtfully chosen and regularly reviewed to ensure it is age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with our academic standards. We follow all state guidelines, including Senate Bill 13, and remain committed to transparency and open communication with families.

Bonham ISD’s District Library Catalog gives students, parents, and staff easy access to explore the books and resources available across our campuses. The online catalog allows users to search for titles by author, subject, or keyword, making it simple to discover new reads and classroom-support materials.

Bonham ISD values open communication and partnership with our families. If a parent or guardian has a concern about a library material, a Library Challenge Form is available to formally share that concern for review.
All submissions are carefully considered through a structured review process in accordance with district guidelines and state law. We are committed to transparency, thoughtful evaluation, and ensuring our library collections continue to support student learning while reflecting our community’s values.

Bonham ISD libraries offer a variety of digital resources to support learning both in and out of the classroom. Students have access to online books, research databases, and educational tools that enhance instruction and encourage independent exploration.
Several campuses provide their own digital resource pages tailored to the needs of their students. We encourage families to visit their child’s campus library webpage to learn more about the digital tools and resources available to support learning at every grade level.

Library Materials to be Considered for Action
In compliance with state law, Bonham ISD provides a public list of all library materials that have been donated to or that are proposed to be procured by a school library, accessible for review by the public for at least 30 days before final board approval. These library materials will be considered for action at the board meeting on Monday, March 23, 2026.
